A stone’s throw from Venice and other destinations
Maison Matilda has chosen the heart of Treviso to welcome its guests. Just a short stroll away are the Ca’ dei Carraresi Museum, the Duomo and Piazza dei Signori, in the centre of a city that is itself a place of rare beauty, to be discovered. Treviso is immensely well-located for visits further afield: halfway between the enchantment of Venice with its lagoon on one side and the wonder of the Dolomites, with Cortina d’Ampezzo, on the other.
In less than an hour by car or train you can reach Padua, with the Basilica of S. Antonio and the Scrovegni Chapel, the Regional Park of the Euganean Hills or the Riviera del Brenta, with its Venetian Villas. As if that wasn’t enough, towards the east lies Vicenza with its numerous monuments and Palladian villas. Last but not least, the Adriatic Riviera is located to the south-east, with Caorle, Bibione and Jesolo, which are very popular seaside tourism destinations.
